Inland Acoustics
Inland Acoustics was founded in 1978 and specializes in many types of acoustical ceilings, specialty ceilings, and acoustical wall panels. We have been an authorized dealer for Armstrong for over 20 years which has enabled us to provide quality products.  As a union company we have the ability to enhance our work forces with trained journeymen and apprentices.

Ceilings and wall panels are available in different materials, textures and fabrics, colors, noise reduction values (NRC) and designs. All ceiling and wall panels meet current fire ratings codes and ceilings are also available in one hour fire ratings. All products come with manufacturer’s warranty.

Suspended Acoustical Ceilings (T-Bar)
All products can be standard or custom ordered. Standard ceiling tiles sizes are 2’x2’ or 2’x4’. Grid sizes are 9/16” or 15/16” and are available from Armstrong, USG, and Celotex; we also install suspended drywall grid. Specialty ceilings are listed below:

• Metal
  Available in non-perforated and perforated (noise reduction)
  Manufacturers: Alpro, Lindner, Armstrong, USG, Chicago Metallic
• Wood
  Available in 2’x2’, coffered, and plank in an assortment of prefinished colors
  Manufacturers: Rulan, Ventwood, Armstrong, USG, Chicago Metallic
• Integrated
  Ceiling is supplied by one manufacturer with lighting, A/C air bar & cans, ceiling tile and grid as one complete unit.

Glue Up Ceilings
Ceiling tiles (12”x12”) are direct applied, normally to drywall ceilings and walls. In this application, ceiling tiles are available in various patterns in which the same pattern is also available in suspended acoustical tiles.

Acoustical Wall Panels
Acoustical wall panels are an industry standard for absorbing noise, excessive echo and reverberation.  They can be mounted directly to walls or ceilings to reduce noise and enhance the environment. We furnish and install wall panels in rooms ranging from auditoriums, multi-purpose rooms, theaters, and conference rooms. Wall panels are custom made to exact sizes and colors. Acoustical wall panel fabrics are available from many manufacturers such as Carnige, Guilford of Maine, and Maharam.

Acoustical wall panels come in a variety of types and thicknesses. The thickness of the panel determines the NRC value and wall panels can be made in a variety of methods. Some panels are made by manufactures with given predetermined dimensions using a ridged fiberglass core with fabric applied to the face. An alternate method can be used called stretch wall systems; an extruded frame and ridged insulation is applied directly to the wall then the fabric is stretched over the insulation tucking the edges into the extruded frame. Tectum is another type of wall panel. Tectum products are cementitious wood
panels composed of aspen wood fibers. Tectum wall panels are most commonly used in locations, such as gymnasiums, which get repeated abuse and still retain their good looks and structural integrity.
